Upload a 3D model, get an automated price in seconds, and a verified maker prints it and ships it to your door, anywhere in India. Supports FDM and resin (SLA), with escrow-protected payments. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). 3D printing in India is where we start, not where we stop: more manufacturing processes, design services, team and enterprise projects, and countries beyond India are on the roadmap (see "Where we're going" — none of it is live yet). 3D Print Now connects people who need parts made with independent, verified makers who own the machines — today, 3D printers across India. A customer uploads a model (STL / 3MF / STEP / OBJ), receives an instant automated quote from an in-browser slicer, chooses material, colour and finish, and pays through escrow that holds funds until the print is delivered as ordered. Independent creators can also list printable designs that anyone can order on demand, and idle-capacity printer owners can earn by fulfilling routed jobs. The platform is operated by 3D Print Now Pvt. Ltd., based in Bengaluru, India. ## What 3D Print Now is (and is not) - IS: a two-sided, on-demand **marketplace + workflow platform** — instant quoting, order management, smart routing to providers, escrow settlement, and aggregated shipping. - IS: a **creator marketplace** where independent designers list printable models for on-demand order. - IS NOT: a single print shop, a slicer you download, a filament/hardware store, or a desktop CAD package. We do not sell printers or run one central factory — printing is distributed across verified independent makers across India. ## How ordering works 1. Upload a model (STL, 3MF, STEP, OBJ). Nothing is printed until an order is placed. 2. An in-browser slicer estimates material, print time, and price instantly. The quote itemises to the gram. 3. Choose technology (FDM or resin/SLA), material, colour, infill/quality, and quantity. 4. Pay at checkout. Funds are held in **escrow**, not released to the provider until delivery is confirmed. 5. The order is routed to a suitable verified maker anywhere in India (or a provider you pick), printed, and shipped via aggregated courier (25+ carriers). 6. On delivery-as-ordered, escrow is released to the provider. Disputes are mediated by 3DPN. ## Pricing & fees (customer-facing) - Quotes are **instant and automated** — no waiting for a manual estimate. Estimates are ephemeral; a confirmed "exact" quote is what you pay and is bookable. - Pricing is transparent and itemised (material mass, print time, post-processing, shipping). All amounts are in **INR**. - A platform fee of **7.5%** is shown to the customer at checkout. There are no hidden add-ons surfaced later. - Payment is only ever taken on a confirmed order, never on a browsing estimate.
